My brother. I drew this for his birthday last year. The only problem is that he grew his hair longer and the photo I used is four years old ^^;

Watchers

College etc.

One presentation in Germanistik survived, one in Prehistory, two more in Prehistory to go. I know, I mentioned only two presentations in my last journal, but I a) forgot that there was one to be held in my course in Germanistik to pass and b) volunteered for a presentation in a course I first didn´t want to take. The new professor introduced his courses at the beginning of the semester and there we saw that most of the topics that build the core of his course (all the french places ^^;) weren´t taken by anyone. I have material for at least three of them and thought I should try one of them; the one which would be the least work possible because it is published in three texts :giggle: The sacrifice pits of Vertault in the Picardie (Northern France). I love that place, because there are so many dogs and horses sacrificed and in such an interesting order and system (dogs lying all on their left side, horses lying on their right side). Fascinating.
I can handle it. I don´t need to pass the courses any more, after all.

I am also working on a comic for the Parc Archéologique Européen Bliesbruck-Reinheim, where I am working for as a guide (first tour survived). It will be about the reconstructed Late Iron Age village they call „Taradunum“ and a girl named „Gwenda“ (which is actually a doll one of the guides works with when there´s a group of handicapped people). I already have to change a few things, but at least it´ll get me some money. Around 300 €, to be correct.
And I was asked to draw a painting book about the grave of the Lady of Reinheim.

I sent a job application to the Museum of History and Art in Luxembourg ([link]) in order to do some weeks of internship. Wish me luck.
Also, I will participate in a documentation campaign in Drama, Bulgaria ([link]) which is exercised by our institute in cooperation with our former professor who is now in Münster (lucky him :XD:). We will draw the finds etc. No digging =( If I´m allowed to, I´ll show you photos. Unfortunately, I was told that Drama is a small village with barely any possibility to use cell phones and none to use internet. We will be able to go to the next town only on Sundays, which means: No DeviantArt for the time of six weeks (we go down there around August 15th and stay until the end of September). I apologize already for not answering comments or watching anything then.

Some other news are that I´ll have three jobs from June on: I already work on an excavation as a guide for school kids/classes and watch over them when they dig in a prepared area (no, we don´t hide something there for them, they work in the same areas as we do :XD:) for three years now (every year from March to September since we are outside) ([link]). And I will soon start to work as a guide in the European Archeological Park in Reinheim/Bliesbruck ([link]) as well as in the Museum for Prehistory in Saarbrücken ([link]). Let´s hope I will be able to combine them and college ^^;
Well, I know that I won´t be doing that many guidances in Reinheim, because it´s the farthest away (I have to drive two hours with busses and train and it´s only 50 km Oo) and I get much less money there ;p
